Our History
North Penn Federal Credit Union (NPFCU) was established in 1955 by a group of employees of North Penn Transfer, a trucking company in Lansdale PA. We are federally chartered by NCUA. We are a non-profit financial cooperative owned and controlled by the members and operated for their benefit by promoting savings and providing low-cost loans. We have now grown to include more than 35 companies in our membership. We still have truck drivers as well as many other professions. There is room for all as we work together to help each other succeed.
Active management operates the Credit Union under the direction of a Board of Directors elected by the members. Members' savings are pooled and lent to other members at reasonable rates. Our staff is available to work with you to help satisfy all your financial needs. While you're surfing the site, be sure to check out the "News" link. There you'll find our current promotions and helpful financial tips for your home & family.
