Watch out for text message scams!
Fraudulent text messages that appear to come from financial institutions are being sent with spoofed websites attached. The spoofed websites are made to look like the credit unions’ legitimate websites and members are enticed to click on the link and share confidential information such as username, passwords, as well as 2-factor authentication passcodes. These fraud attempts have resulted in losses from account takeovers. We are not aware of any such incidents with our members but please be vigilant when receiving text messages from unknown senders. We will never ask you for your log in credentials for Online Banking. If you receive a text message that looks like it is from us and it is asking for personal information, please call us directly at 215-822-9119, do not call any number in the message.
